✨ A Message From Kristine
As we wrap up 2025, I’ve been reflecting on what an incredible first year it has been with Bumble Bee Blinds of Mobile. Launching this business has been both exciting and humbling, and I’m truly grateful for the support, encouragement, and trust this community has shown. From the homeowners who invited us into their spaces to the designers, realtors, and local partners who helped us grow, your belief in our work has meant everything.
As we head into the holiday season, I hope this time brings warmth, connection, and plenty of cozy moments at home. Thank you for making our first year so memorable. I’m looking forward to buzzing into 2026 with new ideas, new offerings, and continued service to our Gulf Coast community.
Wishing you and your families a joyful holiday season!

🎄 Holiday Hosting: Create a Warm & Welcoming Home
The holidays are all about gathering, hosting, and creating spaces that feel inviting. Window treatments can play a surprisingly big role in setting the tone for cozy celebrations.
Soft, light-filtering shades help diffuse winter sunshine and create a warm glow throughout your home, while layered drapery adds texture and elegance for dinners and parties. If you’ve been thinking about upgrading privacy in guest rooms, room-darkening shades ensure comfortable mornings for visiting family. Motorized options are especially handy this time of year - one button press can shift your lighting from daytime cheer to evening ambiance. Even small additions, like decorative valances or seasonal color palettes, can transform a familiar room into a festive backdrop for your celebrations.
Whether you’re hosting a large gathering or enjoying an intimate holiday meal, thoughtful window treatments help shape the mood and make your home feel its best!

📈 2026 Design Trends to Watch
As we head into 2026, window treatment trends are leaning toward a mix of natural warmth and everyday convenience. Homeowners are gravitating toward organic textures, e.g. woven woods, bamboo shades, and earthy fabrics that bring subtle character and calm into a space.
Soft neutrals and warm tones continue to dominate, but expect to see deeper accent colors return, especially in drapery. Functionality remains a key priority: motorization is becoming less of a luxury and more of a must-have, particularly for hard-to-reach windows and busy households. Another emerging trend is the rise of energy-efficient treatments that help regulate temperature during Mobile’s warm seasons. Layering will stay strong, combining shades with drapery for both beauty and flexibility. And for homeowners craving personalization, tailored finishes and custom hardware will help elevate even the simplest designs.
These trends point toward homes that feel grounded, practical, and effortlessly stylish in the year ahead.

🏡 5 Quick Ways to Refresh Your Home for the New Year
Try a new texture. Woven woods or fabric-wrapped shades instantly transform a room without a full redesign.
Upgrade key spaces. Guest rooms, kitchens, and living rooms often benefit the most from new window treatments.
Layer for comfort. Pair drapery with shades to combine privacy, softness, and light control.
Add motorization. A small upgrade that feels like a big lifestyle improvement—perfect for tall or tricky windows!
Start with a free consultation. A fresh pair of eyes can help you see new possibilities in your home!
